What are proofs?

Over fifty years ago, photographers presented clients with proof pictures printed on special paper; images would last for a few weeks and then fade. Then for a few decades, proofs were made with the same paper and chemistry as the finished prints, but without retouching. Now proofs are usually in digital form - on a web site, or CD.

Is black and white photography suggested?

It’s really a matter of taste. Some feel black and white photography gives an album an extra feeling of style and elegance. Digital photography in color leaves open the option of having the final print in sepia, black and white, or color. You can decide when the images are printed or put into an album which you prefer.

I’m expecting a baby. Can you come to the hospital to photograph his first few moments?

We sure can! We’ve visited many hospitals to photograph those first few moments. This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience you’ll want to make sure you capture with quality photography. Don’t risk it with Aunt May’s disposable camera! We’ll take care of the photos – and let you enjoy the moment!

I’d like my family photo in my home. Can you come to my house to take it?

We sure can! Your home is the perfect setting for an intimate family photo. We will come to your home and shoot inside – or outside. Use various outfits, settings, themes – we’ll capture them all!

Do you photograph pets?

Where are you located?

We’re located in LaPorte, in the northern part of the great state of Indiana, equidistant from South Bend and Merrillville.
